Cooler air is denser than hot air, and by having lower intake temperatures your motor can ingest more. More air, more fuel, MORE POWER! An additional benefit is that cooler air is less prone to knock, thus allowing more ignition timing. One of the best bang for your buck modifications. Thermal spacers:
• Greatly reduces the transfer of heat from the cylinder head to intake manifold
• Studies show a 5 degree reduction in air temperature, relates to a 1% increase in horsepower
• Direct bolt-on. Replaces stock gaskets.
